Adam Beissert - FZ1N
It's Adam Beissert here. Sometime ago I got a Elka three way rear shock with an Ohlins spring and the forks done up by you for my 2008 Yamaha FZ1N. Having been busy doing some other mods to wake the motor up, I hadn't done much fine tuning to the new setup you supplied me with. Now it's all done and the suspension is set up perfectly for my weight and the new more aggressive power delivery all I can say is WOW!! The work you guy's done on the fork's and the shock you supplied me with is outstanding. It handle's like a dream. After a few rides with some mates through some really tight twisty's and some great high speed sweeper's, my mates on their R1's, and ZX10's have stopped hanging it on me for buying (in their words) a tourer. Thanks heap's for the great work and fast turn around time with every thing you did. It's by far the best thing I have had done to my bike. Later in the year when funds are right I will get in touch with you about a Hyper-pro steering damper to finish everything off. Thanks heaps and all the best,
Adam Beissert (FZ1 2008)

I originally purchased a HyperPro "StreetBox" due to a failed rear shock. I eventually sent the front forks to Izzy with the "StreetBox" springs installed. At this point the bike was very hard work to ride due to wear in the forks and incorrect damping for my weight. Izzy replaced seals, bushes and custom tuned the forks by fitting Emulator Valves. I've now ridden about 300km on the rebuilt forks and it is the best 300km I have ever ridden. This is my 3rd bike but the first time that I have gone away from OEM suspension parts and ventured into custom products. The bike is comfortable even on rough roads, it has stable recovery after any large bumps or ruts in the road, it corners faster as the front tyre feels like it is glued to the road. Great job and Izzy is a pleasure to deal with.

just giving some feedback from the 2-up ride from home in The Latrobe Valley to Thredbo,( approx 600kms)on my " 07 Guzzi Norge", that you renewed both front and rear suspension..The work done is fantastic, the set-up from your workshop works a treat..we were fully loaded, 2 panniers, a top box and a tankbag, all of which were loaded to the max, going through the hills from Cann River to Bomballa ,then through the long sweepers along the Snowy Hwy and up to Thredbo. those roads are great on a bike. last year on the Guzzi compared to this year..TOTALLY different bike,,the confidence into corners and front end braking was inspiring,.it was great that my wife (pillion) noted with encouragement that i was cornering without her pannicking on the back...
Thanx again Izzy, great job..and if anyone asks where to get their bike suspension fixed i will definately send them your way!!!!

Just a quick email about your support and products.
Since changing to the Elka rear shock in my GSXR1000 2012, we have achieved some great results. This shock lives up to every expectation I would expect from a good quality shock absorber.
The Elka was set up so well right from start. We just fitted the shock and tried with the standard settings. The improvement were huge, knocking another second of my PB. The bikes stability through high speed corners is noticeably much more stable.
We have made only small adjustments to the dampening and now have managed to reduce my times by two seconds since using the Elka shock. It really goes to show what a great product Elka produces and with your after sales support backing up a great product. As you recommendation Izzy, this is a great product.
Elka have got it right, custom building shocks to suit each individual,
Lap times are now consistently lower and we have managed some pleasing results, finishing second outright in the Tasmania one hour, behind Brad Wooton (also on a elka).
Now my riding is faster, safer and much more fun, as I can now concentrate on riding and less time on about set up issue..
Thank you for all your support Izzy, your products and supports are testament of your experience and knowledge.
Please feel free to forward any cards, signage or advising merchandise which I can hand out on race and ride weekends
